Session Description:

In a world where TRUST has become the most precious resource, you can't afford to be without it. This session will discuss the 8 pillars of trust and how you can personally increase your trustworthiness, a foundation for genuine success. For when leaders learn how to implement these pillars, it is then that they enjoy better retention, relationships, reputations, and results. This session is based off of the national best selling book, "The Trust Edge" by David Horsager.

Speaker Bio:

Kris Cannon-Jackson has a professional background in human resources and business management, with a passion of helping to engage employees in the workforce. She has her own consulting firm, InnerGi Consulting, where the focus is helping small businesses with their HR needs, including but not limited to onboarding, policy advisement, payroll and learning & development for their employees. Kris is a consultant to and acts as the Member Relations Coordinator for the nation's largest young professionalsí organization - The CYP Club. She lends her talents to various nonprofit organizations throughout the City, including serving as the Board Treasurer for the organization's 501c3 - Columbus Inspires and volunteers on various committees for WELD - the Women for Economic & Leadership Development Columbus, and Ohio SHRM Conference committee.

Kris has earned an MBA with a focus in Human Resource Management and Leadership, and she has a Bachelor of Science in Organizational Leadership and Business Administration from Franklin University. She has earned the distinguished designation of Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR) and the SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP). Currently, she is exploring her options to continue her education in law.

When Kris has the opportunity, she loves to travel and experience new adventures. She always says that she works to support her cruising habit. (Hey, there are worse habits to have.)
